July meeting announcement
Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 1:19AM We typically do not meet during the month of July. However, the board decided to meet as part of a effort to re-establish some club continuity. [This is my interpretation. Refer to last month's minutes posted in the July newsletter for more info. -jay]. We'll meet at our otherwise normal place and time:
Garden Center at Lorenzi Park

Las Vegas, NV
The board will meet at 6PM as per normal and as usual members are welcome. The meeting proper along with likely plant raffle begins at 7PM.
Our speaker for July will be M.L. Robinson. He is a professor at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. He will be telling us about the new cactus and succulent garden at the Cooperative Extension building on Windmill near Henderson. An article on that work will be posted here and/or in the next newsletter. CSSSN members participated in planting of the garden.
